while beng, one of my best friends, was sadly commemorating the one-year anniversary of the lost christmas card which she sent me in 2012, here i was receiving a christmas greeting card from someone who also did not forget to send me one last year (read story on this at https://wanderingjouster.com/2013/02/23/smails-heart-and-soul/).
immediately, i sent her a message in response to her touching christmas wishes.
got your christmas card a few minutes ago! buti wala akong teaching day sa san beda ngayon. grabeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee. super mega supra touched naman ako. as in talagang snail mail. the classic but extraordinary way of telling people who much they are remembered and loved. maraming maraming salamat.
habang nagcelebrate si ruby ng 1st anniversary nung december ng kanyang hindi naideliver na christmas card sa akin, heto ang iyong card na safe na safe namang nakarating sa akin.
i will extend your warmest greetings to larry and my sons. at sympre ipapakita ko ang iyong card. walang kupas ang dedication at sympre ang penmanship na standard naman pero ewan ko ba kay mrs. singzon at ayaw namang tanggaping maging modelo sa penmanship writing sa sj noon? hahahahahahaha. pinapatawa lang kita, bosing. naman. walang katulad ang mga pinagdaanan natin. i was blessed for encountering you and those people who immensely helped in making me a better human being. hehehe. parang famas award speech ba?
muli, ang taos pusong pasasalamat ko. nawa’y lagi ka ring nasa mabuting kalagayan. wish ko lang, magkita-kita rin uli tayo nina ruby.
ingat po dyan, bosing, ate tess, partner, at ninang.
God bless your thoughtful heart.”
