i’ve been feeling this kind of dreariness  for the past days.

that’s why when my wheel of fortune rolled a little before lunch today, i smiled; really smiled from the heart which reached my eyes.
thank you very much to the bringer of cheer, my older sister nano!  she came not only with her funny anecdotes and experiences from a two-week stay in iloilo city for a work-related trip, but also with these.

“gorgeous” was what i uttered  upon opening each paper bag echoing the printed word on it.

a supporter of my “vice”, nano had to look for these accessories when she finally found time to explore the city. she, too, purchased some for herself  being a lover also of these native bling-blings.
the sight and feel of these helped me redirect my thoughts. admiring the artistry of each creation, i made a mental planning of what i would be wearing to perfectly match every piece. it’s vogue time again.

as i placed the new fashion adornments in the “duyan” (native hammock) which has become an eye-catching tapestry on our wall, i knew that sooner or later, i will be ordering a new holder from bicol.
